Description:   This session will dive into the Mental Health Parity regulations, specifically focusing on the NQTL Comparative Analysis requirements. The DOL's 2022 Report to Congress highlighted widespread group health plan noncompliance.  In response, the DOL and EBSA officials have indicated enforcement of the NQTL Comparative Analysis requirements will be a priority.  Increased funding, investigators and tools are now available to the EBSA to assist with these efforts.  Proactive measures are necessary to avoid non-compliance and lengthy DOL audit activity. This session will provide an overview of case studies from our practice of conducting NQTL Comparative Analyses - outlining red flags for plans to act urgently and prepare these reports, reconciling any mental health compliance issues.
