Description
In November 2021, the Agencies released an interim final rule with request for comments entitled “Prescription Drug and Health Care Spending.” This IFR implements transparency provisions for the 2021 Consolidated Appropriations Act, particularly new requirements for health plans to submit to the Departments information about prescription drug and health care spending. The deadline for this reporting has been moved back to December 27, 2022.
Learning Objectives
This session will discuss the following questions:
- What information is required to be submitted?
- When is the reporting due?
- How can TPAs and their clients prepare for this requirement?
- How can plans work with PBMs to ensure all required data is available?
