Group Health Plans are subject to a significant number of rules and regulations that impact both plan design and administration.  Plan sponsors and administrators face significant liability today unless they have mastered these rules and regulations.  In addition, the DOL is auditing more frequently than they have in the past.  In this 2 part series, we will identify and address some of the obvious and hidden plan design and administration challenges that health plan sponsors and administrators face.  In this Part II, we will address the following topics and answer various questions about each topic:

1. Out of Network Claims Administration:  What are the  traps that lead to litigation and how do you avoid those traps?

2.  Cross Plan Offsetting:  What is it and is it permissible?

3.  Responding to requests for documents and information:  What is required to be provided, when is it required to be provided, and to whom?  What are the consequences if you get it wrong?

4.  Overview of other potential health plan litigation traps and trends.

Cost
