Description
This session will discuss the Code section 419 and 419A deduction rules that govern an employer’s deduction for contributions to a trust that funds medical benefits and the difference between funding through a trust and paying the medical claims directly out of general assets. This session will also discuss the rules regarding accumulating funds in the trust, including unrelated business taxable income and deemed unrelated business taxable income.
