Description
The national emergency and public health emergency (PHE) for COVID-19 were declared by the Trump Administration in 2020. They are currently set to expire on March 1 and April 11, respectively. On Monday, January 30, the Administration informed Congress that it intends to extend the emergency declarations to May 11, and then end both emergencies on that date.
This webinar will discuss the end of the emergency declarations, what requirements will expire, and how TPAs and plans need to prepare.
Learning Objectives
This session will discuss the following questions:
- What requirements were tied to the emergency declarations?
- When will the various requirements expire?
- How can TPAs and their clients prepare for the end of the emergency declarations?
