Description
The President and the Administration have discussed at length efforts to bring down the cost of prescription drugs, and the President recently released a series of executive orders with that goal. Going into the 2020 election, it is likely whichever candidate is successful will maintain a focus on this issue. This webinar will examine recent developments and look forward to what TPAs can expect in 2021.
Learning Objectives
>> What, if any, impact will the recent Administration activity aimed at reducing prescription drug costs have on employer-sponsored group health plans and TPAs?
>>What impact will final rule issued by FDA allowing proposals for the importation of certain drugs from Canada and other countries on a state-by-state basis and allowing for drug importation by pharmacists and wholesalers have on TPAs and their clients?
>> What are the potential impacts of the ongoing litigation challenging the Affordable Care Act?
>> What are the emerging issues TPAs should be aware of for the next year? (e.g. 340B, gene therapies, etc.)
And more.
Cost
There is no cost for this webinar.
