Description: As Medical Cannabis programs continue to expand across the United States, and given the global expansion in clinical research and capital investment within the space, Medical Cannabis will be an area that needs to be formally addressed by all plans. While there are reasonable concerns today related to existing differences between Federal and State legislation, significant differences between State programs, and material concerns around impairment in safety-sensitive workplaces - plan sponsors will need to be ready as the issues begin to resolve.
This presentation will highlight and review key coverage considerations related to Medical Cannabis and what a path to responsible coverage could look like.
