Description
Air Ambulance charges are sky high without any rational reason for these prices. SPBA has held two sessions at SPBA meetings on this topic that have been well received by SPBA members. This webinar is for those who were not able to attend those sessions or would like further insights into this growing problem.
Learning Objectives
>> A brief history of the industry; how we got here and where this is headed.
>> How to protect the plan from exposure to excessive billed charges.
>> How to identify claims where transport by air ambulance transport was medically necessary.
>> Strategies that can be employed by plans and patients against balance billing by providers.
Cost: Free

The podcast is an MP3 format, audio and video file, that you can “save as” to your computer hard drive and then move to any MP3 compatible device.
