Description:
Employers, plan administrators and others are subject to a myriad of reporting and disclosure requirements relating to their employee benefit plans and wellness programs, many of which carry stiff penalties. The Affordable Care Act has added a new layer of disclosures and required changes to existing disclosures in SPDs and other employee welfare benefit plan materials. This webinar is designed to offer an overview of these reporting and disclosure obligations and provide strategies to streamline employee communications in a compliant way. This webinar will also provide a useful baseline on reporting and disclosure requirements for new members of a Benefits Team and serve as a refresher for seasoned members.
Learning Objectives
>> Learn about the disclosure requirements that apply based on the plan's size and funding arrangement.
>> Learn about SPDs, SMM, Claim Procedure Notices, SARs, SBC, ACA reporting, HIPAA notices and more.
>> Learn about special disclosures required for wellness programs.
>> Hear about special tips on potentially troublesome areas with disclosure.
>> Learn about when electronic disclosure is an option.
Cost
The cost will be $199.99 per location for the live webinar and the audio podcast. You may have as many people as can fit in a room, hear a conference call and see a computer screen for the live webinar.
