Business Associate Changes under the HIPAA/HITECH Privacy, Security Rules
Attorney Dot Powell-Woodson, Wiley Rein LLP, who authored the updated Business Associate Agreement and Subcontractor Agreement for SPBA members, will walk participants through the changes in defining and contracting with Business Associates, as well as explain the key points TPAs need to understand in the rules implementing the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act.
